Country Security Manager – Gaza

About the role

The Country Security Manager will oversee daily security management for all Acted premises and project sites in Gaza, continuously monitoring the security situation and advising senior management on safety matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and implement Country Security Plans, SOPs and Contingency Plans.
• Provide daily security management, crisis response and adaptation of protocols to local conditions.
• Conduct security briefings for new international staff and design training modules for approval.
• Maintain a security network, ensure external representation and report on security incidents.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience working in insecure environments, preferably in Africa, Asia or the Middle East.
• Strong communication, organizational and multi‑tasking abilities under pressure.
• Willingness to live in remote areas under basic conditions and work both in the field and office.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of local language is a plus.
