Health Manager

About the role

The Health Manager leads the implementation of health programming across Gaza, Deir Al‑Balah, and Khan Younis, focusing on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and integrated maternal and infant nutrition services. This position ensures high‑quality, timely, and effective delivery of health interventions while fostering cross‑sector collaboration and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of SRH and nutrition services in Gaza.
• Coordinate with direct and partner‑led interventions to ensure alignment with IRC standards.
• Provide line management and performance oversight for SRH and nutrition staff.
• Strengthen capacity of local partners and health facilities.
• Facilitate integration with Health, Nutrition, Environmental Health, and Protection teams.
• Contribute to strategic planning and harmonization of health programming across the occupied Palestinian territory.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health programs in humanitarian settings.
• Strong leadership and line‑management capabilities.
• Ability to promote accountability, performance management, and continuous learning.
• Experience working collaboratively across multiple sectors.
• Commitment to IRC values, safeguarding principles, and high‑quality service delivery.
