Early Childhood Development Manager

About the role

The Early Childhood Development (ECD) Manager will be based in Gaza and report to the ECD Coordinator. This role leads the implementation and quality assurance of ECD programming across the region, ensuring that young children and their caregivers receive high‑quality, integrated services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ECD interventions delivered through direct, partner‑managed, community‑based, mobile, center‑based, and emergency response modalities.
• Provide technical and operational leadership to ECD Officers, Assistants, and Facilitators.
• Support capacity‑strengthening activities for staff and implementing partners.
• Ensure program quality, compliance with IRC standards, and alignment with humanitarian response plans.
• Coordinate with other IRC sectors to enhance outcomes for children and families.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing early childhood development programs in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong supervisory and team‑leadership abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with local partners, communities, and multi‑sectoral teams.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
