ECD Officer

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Early Childhood Development (ECD) Officer to support its emergency response and longer‑term programme in the occupied Palestinian territory. Reporting to the ECD Coordinator, the officer will help implement and monitor ECD activities across the West Bank. The IRC delivers integrated humanitarian programming across the occupied Palestinian territory, including education, early childhood development, protection, women’s empowerment, economic recovery and emergency response.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of early childhood development programmes in partnership with teachers, facilitators and local implementing partners.
• Conduct field monitoring of ECD activities to ensure quality and compliance with programme standards.
• Collect and manage data related to programme delivery and outcomes.
• Support coordination with community‑based actors and other IRC units delivering education, protection and health services.

Required profile

• Works under the supervision of the ECD Coordinator.
