Country Director Palestine

About the role

The Country Director will lead PUI's mission in Palestine, ensuring safety, program quality and operational continuity in a highly volatile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of the mission and staff.
• Coordinate programme teams, monitor needs and propose new operations.
• Oversee human resources, staffing and performance management.
• Manage logistical, administrative and financial compliance with donor rules.
• Represent PUI with partners, donors, media and authorities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in humanitarian action, project management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with international NGOs, including project coordination; senior‑level experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and stress‑resilience in unstable contexts.

Required skills

• Humanitarian project management.
• Donor compliance knowledge.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Arabic and/or French are assets.

• Fixed‑term executive contract (12 months) with monthly gross salary €3,330‑€3,730.
