About the role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) Officer to join its health team in Gaza. The officer will ensure high‑quality implementation of IRC‑led SRH activities and partner‑delivered interventions, aligning with the approved workplan and donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of IRC’s health service quality standards.
- Plan, implement, supervise, and monitor SRH programming both directly and through partners.
- Develop and execute quality‑improvement plans, reporting findings to the Health Coordinator.
- Provide technical support to SRH projects to ensure compliance with international standards, donor requirements, and IRC policies.
- Foster collaborative relationships with partner organizations, health clinics, and NGOs.
- Coordinate with protection, nutrition, and ERD teams to integrate SRH activities across sectors.
- Participate in field coordination meetings and prepare regular progress reports and work plans.
Required profile
- Experience in sexual and reproductive health programming in humanitarian settings.
- Familiarity with international SRH standards, donor reporting requirements, and IRC policies.
- Ability to work closely with implementing partners, external stakeholders, and multi‑sectoral teams.
