Logistics Technical Assistant (Palestine)

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a Logistics Technical Assistant to support the day‑to‑day implementation of its logistics function in Ramallah. The role provides essential administrative and operational support to ensure assets, procurement, and logistics processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Logistics Coordinator in maintaining the asset register and preparing regular reports.
• Support the Procurement Coordinator with tracking purchases, drafting RFQs for small procurements, submitting payments and archiving logistics documents.
• Coordinate receipt of newly purchased items, tag assets, and manage delivery or dispatch to end users.
• Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and Waybills, and ensure proper filing according to NRC standards.
• Facilitate asset repair and maintenance in collaboration with ICT and procurement teams.
• Act as focal point for annual physical asset checks and for loss‑and‑damage reporting.
• Maintain logistics records, assets, and equipment, and promote continuous improvement of logistics processes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in logistics, procurement or asset management within a humanitarian or complex context.
• Fluency in Arabic (written and verbal); good knowledge of Hebrew is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license.
