Supply Chain (Logistics) Manager - Warehouse & Fleet

About the role

Project HOPE, an international NGO active in more than 25 countries, is hiring a Supply Chain (Logistics) Manager in Gaza. The role manages and coordinates logistics operations including warehousing, fleet, assets, inventory, transportation and Gifts-in-Kind (GIK), and reports to the Country Supply Chain Director. It supervises warehouse officers, fleet officers, logistics assistants and the GIK officer, and works with program, administration, finance and security teams. The position is advertised contingent on award, with no formal offer until funding is confirmed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse operations, including inspection, recording and storage of goods, and proper storage of medicines, medical supplies and perishables
• Maintain accurate inventory records, run regular stock counts, implement FIFO/LIFO rotation and monitor expiry dates
• Ensure warehouse safety, security and staff training on procedures and GIK handling
• Manage organizational assets and fleet: tagging, tracking, maintenance, fuel and driver supervision
• Oversee receipt, storage and distribution of donated goods and ensure donor compliance
• Prepare monthly logistics and warehouse reports, archive documents and support audits
• Liaise with program teams, other NGOs, UN agencies and the Logistics Cluster, and support operations across field locations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management
• Proven experience managing warehouses, fleets, assets and GIK, and supervising logistics teams
• Experience with international NGOs or humanitarian organizations
• Fluent English (written and spoken); fluent local languages desirable

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management and humanitarian logistics systems
• Proficiency in inventory and asset management systems
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
• Team leadership, planning and coordination; ability to work in high-pressure humanitarian settings
